On The CMajor Radio Show today, CMajor spoke about homework for parents including Music Theory Basics. Not to worry–It’s ‘easy, peasy, lemon squeezy’ as some of my young students would say. Please see the homework assignment below:
- Study Music Basics, i.e. learn about the Grand Staff, Musical Dynamics and Note Values.
- Google Search “Must Know Music Terms for Parents” and then read the article to see if there are some key takeaways.
- Ask your child(ren) to tell you what piano, forte, mezzo forte and mezzo piano mean.
