Did you hear today’s tutorial on The CMajor Radio Show?  CMajor explained in some detail, her ideas for writing Faint Memory.  Please see further notes below:

Note: The following notes are taken from First Steps in Music Theory.  See the sections on Letter Names of Notes and Semitones, Tones, and The Scale of CMajor for further reference:

  1. A white note between the second and third of a group of three black notes is called A.
  2. If you play all the white notes from C to the next C to the right, one after the other, you will have played a scale.
